the Imagination House | |
The ET250 connects your Power Supply to your house wiring, and lets the house rotate without snagging the wire. The beginning of this slideshow has steps that don't apply to the current product (with soldered on connection wire), but no matter what house you have or what era of Turntable, some of the steps will apply to your project. |

Q&A The key to success for turntables is to find the center of weight for the house so it doesn’t wobble or tend to turn by itself. I mess around with the placement until I find the right place, giving the house a gentle spin and watching to be sure it coasts to a stop randomly – if it always stops in the same place, then I know it’s not centered, and watching too for any tilt or wobble as it turns. Once I have it right, then I slide the whole assembly to the edge of the table and work from underneath to secure it there. |
